This name derives from the vineyards located on a hillside with humid soil, on which grows sedges.

Altitude : 230-250 m
A sloped terroir located on the left side of the river Serein, just out of Chablis on the way to Auxerre. The exposure to South-East, on a white and stony soil, is perfect for Chardonnay. Precocious area from Chablisien, the wines are elegant and floral but can age excessively.

At their arrival in our cellar, the grapes are immediately and carefully pressed with a pneumatic press.
